unless you're in a safe off-leash park. Due to this dog's strong herding instincts, you may find him take

off after a car, a flock of birds or even a group of kids as he tries to 'herd' them into a corner. While it

may seem amusing to some, this behaviour is dangerous for those being 'herded' and especially dangerous

if your dog ends up under the wheels of the car he's trying to herd onto the pavement!

Puppies leaving after Christmas!

Tinkle aka Haven will be leaving at boxing day... Salvia will be leaving to KL, Malaysia on 29 DEC and Jacob will be leaving to Thailand by 4 JAN.... so happy that puppies has found their new home with great people around ASIA!

ONLY till now, we can finally confirmed the colours of Hershey's litter. 2 x Blue Merle (Haven aka Tinkle & Salvia), 1 x Blue Merle Tri (Passion), 2 x Chocolate/Red Merle (Buttons aka Bailey & Jacob) & 1 x Red White (Guinness). What a Colourful litter? God has blessed us with this wonderful Christmas Gift!

Buttons is now with his new owners! Have fun with your Puppy guys! Buttons will be joining us for his Obedience and Agility Classes, so we will see more of him as he grows up! Buttons will be name Bailey, so his NEW name is BB ...... Bailey Buttons!!!

Hershey's Puppies at 11th week!

17.12.10 - Hershey's puppies went for their 2nd vaccination this evening. All of them brave through the vaccination without a sweat. On average their weight is 6kg. Buttons top the list, while Salvia hit the bottom.

Buttons - 6.9kg, Passion - 5.7kg, Haven/Tinkle - 5.9kg,

Guinness - 6.1kg, Jacob - 6.0kg, Salvia - 5.6kg

All have grown tremendously, this time we have to go with 2 crates to house them.

After a week of observation, we now officially confirmed, that BEN X HERSHEY Puppies has CHOCOLATE Colour in their Merle! That will make Hershey's litter LILAC MERLE!!! Buttons, Haven, Passion, Salvia and Jacob, all have the shapes of CHOCOLATE ...... how cool is this.

The Collie was probably derived from the Border Collie, perhaps with some cross-breeding from Borzois and Irish Setters. Today's conformation Collie was developed in Britain in the mid-19th century from working collies of the day. In those days, Collies looked very much like the Border Collie of today, says Presberg.

Early Morning Ritual

Past few days we have been bringing out the puppies to eliminate in the early morning, all done well except passion and jacob, they are overwhelm by the vast garden then their mission to potty outside..... haha that's what puppies are .......

Hope to educate them to eliminate on grass, every morning as a healthy good habit.

PHENOMENON!!

Last 2 days, we witness a great phenomenon! Some of Hershey's Puppies black patches has turn CHOCOLATE. Buttons, Jacob, Passion, & Salvia all shows a change in colour form BLACK to CHOCOLATE.

Great news! Buttons has been adopted by Kenneth & Cheryl and he will be going home to their lovely home. So glad that Buttons has found a family that will take good care of him.

A Proof of Concept

Yesterday a lady came again to take a good look at Passion and she did an amazing thing, she run over to the newspaper and pee in-front of that lady, that's my girly!!! Sweet!!!

De-worming done last night

Last night we de-worm our puppies again, so it should take care of most of the worms in the stomach, yuppies ...... it's a good feeling :)

Jacob will be a Termite Inspection Dog

Jacob will be going home with Marie to be trained as a Termite Inspection Dog and also a pet dog to the family. Marie has 2 other dogs, GSDs.

Hershey's Puppies at 9 week!

The Border Collie's eye, smarts and drive have remained unchanged for hundreds of years.‎

Hershey's puppies are now at their 9th week and boy how they've grown? Beautiful looks, coats, bright merle colours, alert, playful, driven, sound structure. They are now weighing at 5-6 kg each, they are heavier than a pack of rice.

I must say this is ONE very GOOD BUNCH of LITTER!!!
